HI! My name is Nitya. I am currently a PhD student pursuing research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at IU School of Informatics & Computing, IUPUI. I am interested in studying the adoption and use of data analytics/business intelligence tools in human-services based contexts.  I aim to contribute to a better understanding of the suitability of different types of data in supporting decision making in the midst of this computational turn and the big data phenomena by shedding light on the epistemological biases of BI systems and data-driven organizational cultures.
